A one-day course in BM-E Operator Training can be performed either on-site at Sperry Marine’s worldwide headquarters in Charlottesville, VA, or aboard the customer’s vessel. This class is designed to achieve the level of technical competency required for safe operation of the BM-E radar.
The class includes, with demonstration using a BM-E radar, operations and features including: basic operations, ship’s heading and speed, presentation, motion, vector and trail modes, EBL’s , ERBL’s, and VRM’s, target functions, ARPA functions, navigation functions, map functions, parallel index lines, tools, alarms and system functions.
