AISLive provides online access to real time vessel movements. We receive the AIS (Automatic Identification System) signals via our international shore-based network of antennae. Our growing network coverage now includes Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean, Mediterranean, the Arabian Gulf and Far East.
AIS was initially developed for collision avoidance, but with the R&D efforts of AISLive, we have developed the original technology and pushed it to another level. With coverage on four continents, AISLive now gives a truly global view of vessel positions in real time.
AIS Live Ltd. has developed a low cost solution for ports and port communities to enable them to make full use of this new technology. |

The AISLive.com network currently provides real-time information from a number of locations around the world.
The position of each vessel in a region is displayed on a chart. By placing the cursor over a specific vessel users can display additional details including latitude, longitude, course, speed and destination port. For subscribers of Internet Ships Register there is also a dynamic link from AISLive which gives comprehensive additional information on vessel and ownership details provided by Lloyd's Register - Fairplay. |

AIS Alerts Service now available - a fully automated vessel trigger service |
|
AISLive may be used to send an email message to a nominated email address the second a vessel arrives at a selected trigger zone.
This is a fully automated process that works on the basis of the ship's latest (or last) reported AIS position and a pre-defined trigger area. The service is therefore both accurate and up-to-date. Once a selected ship enters the pre-defined trigger area, the AIS service server will automatically trigger an alert.
This alert is then instantly emailed. The alert may be used for many purposes, for instance, to alert a pilot than an unexpected vessel has reached a predetermined point, or for a ferry operator to coordinate arrival or departure times with a railway company.

|
Benefits
- The service is fully automatic, so is therefore accurate and reliable. Triggers can be set for as many ships as required, and for multiple trigger areas
- Cost effective, real time vessel tracking solution
- Powerful global search tool - search by vessel name, IMO number or call sign or selected from AISLIive database of over 50,000 vessels already identified as having passed within AISLive coverage areas
