Course Objectives
Our courses have been designed to give each participant a complete understanding of the theory and practical use of ECDIS, ECS and the various types ofelectronic charts. Students completing our USCG approved ECDIS course will have fulfilled the following STCW-95 competencies:
- Plan and Conduct a Passage Plan and Determine Position: Thorough Knowledge of and Ability to Use ECDIS of Table A-II/I of the STCW-95code

Determine Position and the Accuracy of Resulting Position Fix:Position Determination Using ECDIS With Specific Knowledge of its OperatingPrinciples, Limitations, Sources of Error, Detection of Misrepresentation of information and methods of Correction to Obtain Accurate Position Fixingof Table A-II/2 of the STCW-95 code
